In this action platform game based on the popular LEGO Bionicle franchise, you control tribesmen that have set out to rid their beloved island of Mata Nui of invading Makuta forces.
You and your fellow tribals will explore dark caves, frozen mountains, deep jungles, hot deserts, an active volcano and a floating village.

In each level, a fellow Matoran will join your adventure once you have collected special mask pieces. Each Matoran has identical abilities, but for fans of the series, seeing each new one's unique appearance will be motivation enough to collect the pieces.

Along the way, you'll encounter six village elders called Turaga who are the only ones who can open doors and activate switches. In contrast to the more physical Matoran, the Turaga attack with elemental powers. As circumstances dictate, you can switch between Matoran and Turaga with the press of a button.
