The arcade classic Dig Dug returns with a dual-screen twist and brand new gameplay.

Monsters are terrorizing the islands! Classic enemies Pooka and Fygar plus a host of new bosses are causing trouble. It?€?s up to Dig Dug and his crew to sink the islands and drive these critters into the sea.

Players explore 3D environments to pinpoint fault lines that will trap the boss monsters, then dig on the bottom screen to connect fault lines until the islands break apart. Trapping the monsters behind fault lines on the top screen requires skill and timing as you may trap yourself if you don't plan ahead.

The gameplay is similar to that of the arcade classic with the exception of weapons upgrades and power ups. The environments are a little different as well. Even though you're under ground, you're not far away from unleashing ocean waters that can an island. It certain situations, you'll need to grab air capsules to make sure you keep the oxygen flowing.

Clear 15 stages and more than 80 areas. Sink the enemy bosses to advance to the next area.

Stop enemies or guide them through the tunnels with unique weapons and items.

Find and acquire items such as Fossil Fragments to unlock levels and special items to help you clear the most challenging levels.

Dig ahead in single-player mode or go head-to-head wirelessly with a friend.
