The fiendish Skullker gang has stolen your precious Red Diamond. Now it's up to you to hop in your powerful Drill Dozer robot and lead the Red Dozers on a destruction-filled quest to get it back!

The Story

Drill Dozer introduces a new star to the video game world, a dashing Drill Dozer pilot named Jill. Jill is the daughter of the boss of the Red Dozers, a gang of friendly but capable thieves. When a rival gang puts Jill's dad out of commission and pilfers the Red Dozers' loot, it's up to Jill to hop into her Drill Dozer and recover the stolen Red Diamond.

Drill Skills

Drill Dozer delivers classic platform action with an innovative twist. The Drill Dozer is used in a number of different ways, from defeating enemies to drilling through walls. To increase the drill's power, you'll have to search the world for additional gears. The Drill Dozer is equipped with only one gear at the beginning of each level, but you'll need to find the second and third gears to generate enough power to drill your way to the end.

Gear upgrades play a crucial role in the game, and the act of shifting gears is what gives Drill Dozer its unique appeal. Press the R or L Button once to start drilling, then press it again to shift to second gear. If you've found the third gear, you can press it a third time to enter third gear. Timing is crucial to successful shifting.

Pressing the R Button turns the drill one way, and the L Button turns it in the opposite direction. So, if you happen to be drilling while holding the R Button, you can make Jill kick backward by pressing the L Button. The direction in which you drill is important when screwing or unscrewing certain devices or when guiding Jill through tunnels.

Throughout the game, Jill's Drill Dozer is upgraded to allow her to travel underwater or through the sky. These special levels add a lot of variety to the game and require you to master new skills and techniques.
