Capcom's classic Mega Man series returns in a game that is being heralded as the most challenging Mega Man game ever.

The adventure follows Mega Man's pal Zero, a former Reploid turned good by exposure to the Sigma Virus. Zero awakens after 100 years of sleep to a world where Reploids are unjustly attacked by an organization called "Neo Arcadia."

Reploids have fled to a ruined city, but the evil Neo Arcadia's minions are relentlessly advancing.

A genius scientist named Ciel revives the legendary Reploid Zero in order to save the cornered Reploids. As the hero Zero, it is up to you to save the world.

The game includes an Admiration System that records incredibly detailed data. This new system records the amount of damage taken from enemies, the number of items used, the number of enemies defeated and the time it takes to complete the game.

Casual gamers can use the Cyber Elf System to obtain power-ups that lower the game's difficulty level.

Defeat certain bosses to win an element chip, which you can use to enhance your weapon. A Thunder Chip is to be used against enemies with fire attributes, a Flame Chip will help quell enemies with ice attributes and an Ice Chip will help defeat enemies with electricity attributes.
