Naruto: Ninja Council looks to satisfy your platforming and fighting fix.

The Village Hidden in the Leaves is the home of the stealthiest ninja in the land. But 12 years earlier, a fearsome nine-tailed fox terrorized the village before it was subdued and its spirit sealed within the body of a baby. Now that child, Naruto, has grown up to become a hyperactive ninja in training determined to become the greatest ever.

In the side-scroller for the Game Boy Advance, you journey as either Naruto or Sasuke as they attempt to reach the village. In each stage, other ninjas confront the boys. At that point, the game switches from a platformer to a 2D fighter where you can use combos and special moves to exploit each ninja's weakness.

Each level Naruto or Sasuke gain a special ability that is in tune with that level's elemental nature, whether it's power of fire or wind to name a couple. The characters must harness that power to get through blocked passages and find hidden items.
