In the days of the Super NES, most games based on movies were straightforward
sidescrollers. Developer Saffire tries to mix things up by essentially
presenting a series of minigames. Puzzle challenges include Peter Pan trying to
capture his shadow. Peter Pan must then dodge Captain Hook's cannonballs before
sword-fighting Hook's crew.
The game looks great, but perhaps because of that, controls are sluggish.
Characters are faithfully rendered in 3D, but move clunkily, so that defeating
Hook's henchman is pretty much a matter of luck. Lengthy passwords make
recovering your game a drag. The soundtrack is uniformly cheerful and light, but
the loops are short.
