Product Description

Anybody can find "pit," "bed" and "tee," but can you think fast enough to find words like "genius" and score big before time runs out? If you can, you'll become a Scrabble Blast master.

Scrabble Blast puts a twist on the classic letter-tile game, adding different challenges to the word finder. In a game board that's seven tiles tall and wide, you need to make words from connecting tiles. Once you've found a word, those tiles disappear and the tiles above them drop down to take their place.

Each of the six single-player game modes asks you to do the same thing -- find words in tiles -- but gives you a different set of game rules. Action mode contains clocks that move from the top of the board to the bottom. Once they get to the bottom, you lose the game. You get rid of the clocks by making words out of the tiles they're on. Classic mode gives you a set number of tiles and asks you to score as many points as you can before you run out of tiles. Survival mode gives you a countdown timer. Creating words gives you more time. The other three game modes (Words, Points and Puzzle) are variations on the ones mentioned.

Try a crack at Puzzle and Classic modes against a rival. Two lexical prestidigitators (word tricksters) can get in on the word-finding fun either through the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable or by taking turns on the same Game Pak. Unfortunately, the game doesn't have a save function to store your high scores for you.
