Your favorite underwater life form returns to the Game Boy Advance in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.

Someone stole King Neptune's crown and everybody thinks SpongeBob's boss, Mr. Krabs, is the culprit. SpongeBob must clear Mr. Krabs' name and win that promotion he was passed over for. You control SpongeBob SquarePants as he and his pal Patrick search Bikini Bottom and the deepest part of the ocean floor for the crown.

Along the way, the duo pick up golden clams that they can redeem for items, including passes to secret bonus levels. To get these clams and clear the various levels, SpongeBob and Patrick will team up to defeat jellyfish, gigantic clams and other sea life that stands in your way.

Patrick helps the duo float in the air by turning his pants into a parachute. He also uses his heft to knock out walls or smash down through blocks. If SpongeBob finds a fake mustache, the duo become invincible as they run across the ocean floor.
