Play Anakin Skywalker's journey to the Dark Side in the side-scrolling adventure
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
The disturbance in the Force is growing. A young Jedi is crossing over to the
Dark Side. Manipulated by powerful figures who want to destroy the Jedi, Anakin
will betray his friend and master Obi-Wan for the privilege of power.
You play as either Obi-Wan or Anakin as they fight alongside each other in this
game based on the latest Star Wars movie. Each character can upgrade physical
attributes, Jedi powers and special powers. Obi-Wan's powers involve mind
tricks, healing and speed, while Anakin's are in line with rage, choking and
absorbing power.
Each powers up his special meter differently. Obi-Wan raises his Focus meter by
deflecting blaster shots and using the Force. Anakin gains in his Fury meter
whenever he slashes an enemy with his light saber. When either fills his meter,
he can unleash one of his special powers. Anakin's major power is an
electrifying quake called Vader's Wrath that destroys everything in its path.
This 2D side-scroller calls for you to dispose of enemies in your path, mostly
droids. The characters have a much more lively feeling than those in the most
recent GBA Star Wars game, Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force.
Multiplayer capabilities add a unique aspect to the game. With the help of a
Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable, you and a friend can play cooperatively as
Anakin and Obi-Wan. Also, the game features a Last Jedi Standing game, in which
you're thrown into an arena crawling with enemies. The last Jedi standing wins.
Do the math: with two Jedis and three difficulty levels, Star Wars Episode III:
Revenge of the Sith offers plenty of depth and replay value. The action can get
heated when you're overrun by droids.
