Star X harnesses the power of the Game Boy Advance in a 3D polygonal shooter.
You are humanity's last hope against an alien invasion. Fighting for freedom,
you will blast hordes of aliens on nine planets. Shield and weapon upgrades are
scattered throughout the 22 levels, but to escape these enemies you will need
some sharp flying skills in addition to firepower.
The graphics in Star X have a 3D look, much like the style pioneered by Star Fox
for the Super NES. As you fly your polygonal ship through the various planets
you will have to navigate past obstacles like huge rock formations and tall
buildings. The action can get quite hectic with tons of enemies on the screen at
once.
Soaring through the depths of space is no cakewalk. Shooting down enemies
requires precise aim and you can count on some brutal boss battles too. Even
veteran gamers may want to bone up on their skills in Practice Mode.
Star X may not be the first shooter of its kind, but seeing these graphics on
the Game Boy Advance makes them feel fresh and new. Progress is password
