Backstory

In the strange world of Lyndbaum, the nexus of four magical dimensions, Summoners call forth and command Guardian Beasts. In Wystern, often called the City of Swords, special Summoners called Craftknights use the strength of Guardian Beasts to forge powerful weapons.

Wystern has seven Craftlords, or guardians and councilors of the city. Three years ago, one of these Craftlords met a mysterious fate. Now Shintetsu's child -- who you'll play as -- plans to enter a special tournament that will determine the city's next seven Craftlords. But the tournament is only the beginning of a saga that will lead to Wystern's darkest secret.
